Christmas comes to life as tree shines bright in Brisbane's CBD

The festive spirit has returned to King George Square with the lighting of Brisbane's biggest Christmas tree.

Carols were sung, Santa and his elves appeared and thousands of people enjoyed a performance by ARIA award-winning singer Samantha Jade in the lead up to the lights being turned on.
