New information revealed about the Gospers Mountain 'mega-blaze' — Australia's largest e

New videos of the "mega-blaze" at Gospers Mountain and first-hand accounts from operational commanders have shed new light on Australia's biggest ever bushfire.

Firefighting chiefs, some speaking for the first time, describe the blaze as "a continuous beast" that could not be controlled.

"There's not really any words that summarise the intensity of that fire," said NSW Rural Fire Service volunteer Stacey Kent, who spent much of the summer battling the blaze.
