Coles worker stabbed at shopping centre
A woman in her 60s has been stabbed at a shopping centre in Queensland. The victim, believed to be Coles supermarket worker, was attacked at about 5.23pm on Monday at the Yamanto Central Shopping Centre, in Yomanto. She was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with critical injuries.
The shopping centre was evacuated while police scoured the area for the culprit. A teenage boy is in custody. Shoppers have since been allowed back in but most shops have closed for the night. Coles is assisting the police with their inquiries.
