Council had five complaints about magpie in Brisbane park before baby Mia's death
Brisbane City Council will act more quickly to remove aggressive birds after an investigation found five complaints had been made about a dangerous magpie before a tragic accident claimed the life of a baby at a Brisbane park.
Five-month-old baby Mia died three weeks ago after sustaining critical head injuries when her mother tripped and fell while trying to avoid the swooping bird in Glindemann Park, in Brisbane's east.
