Queensland police officer conducting speed checks struck by stolen car in Salisbury
A Queensland police officer has been struck by a stolen car on Brisbane's southside this morning.
Queensland Police Service said the male officer was conducting speed checks on Orange Grove Road at Salisbury shortly before 6:30am when he attempted to intercept a car by walking onto the road.
The car was then driven directly at the officer.
He sustained arm and back injuries and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
